Response Rate On Usps's New Eddm Program

Posted by Anonymous on 250 Points
I'm wondering if anyone has used the post offices new EDDM program. I'm currently attempting to calculate the needed return on the program vs average response for such a run. EDDM delivers to all addresses in a particular route. This means you can target specific areas of your town which is helpful for distance and yearly income, but is not the same as a targeted list. The only "bulk" info I can find is on bulk email. The numbers are not currently working in my favor, but it's close enough that I may give it a go just for comparison to my other efforts.

    Hi,

Such kind of campaigns, worls out differently for differentl industries. You have not mentioned about your domain.

If you are in retails kind of business where in your target customers are local only, then this campaign must work for you. Reason, the EDD program will deliver your message to each and every resident near to your locality. I am finding much better option then distributing leaflets in the newspaper. Leaflets has become normal activity, Reader just take them out of newspaper and throws it in to the dustbin. Where in a mailer way, audiance will atleast try open it and read it a bit. This is enough to ignite the interest. I would definatelly try this kind of campaignb, not just to know, how much it will work, but how audiance takes it.

    Hope this will helpo.
