Need Help With Rodeo - Hospital Sponsorship Ideas

Posted by Anonymous on 500 Points
This fall we’ll be hosting a large, regional rodeo. We’ve secured quite a few sponsors but are in negotiations with our local hospital. They’re interested in sponsoring the event with some type of health-related tie in. We’ve seen many Tough Enough To Wear Pink sponsorships, and they sponsor a similar event at a different rodeo here so we’re hesitant to do the same thing at this rodeo (we want both rodeos to be stand-alone and not mirror images of the other). Does anyone have ideas about how we can involve the hospital? What have you seen work well with your clients or in your community?

Thank you in advance for your ideas and input!

Along with Randall's fine ideas, how about:

    A "Branded" First Aid Tent
Cowboy Band Aids For The First 100 kids each day (something like: https://www.amazon.com/Cowboy-Western-Design-Bandages-Band-Aids/dp/B004Q6QF...)

    For consideration:
    * Perhaps ushers could wear hospital scrubs w/cowboy hats sporting the hospital logo.
    * Sponsor a "healthy treat/food/drink" to be sold w/part or all of the proceeds going to a worthy cause.
    * Prepare a promotional health/hospital logoed item for distribution to the first ## attendees (or all attendees, depending on budget)
    * Draw ticket/seat number(s) at some point (beginning, end, whenever); can you tell I know nothing or little about rodeos? during the rodeo for prize(s)

    Best of luck!
