Know-How Exchange : Website Critique

It' not easy to figure out at first glance what your website is about. Is an app for a smart phone required? What communities are actively using it (if there's not sufficient interest in the community, people will quickly forget about your website)? If your services are 100% free, how do you make money with this project?

I give up. Who is the target audience? What's in it for them to use the site? What am I supposed to DO? The call-to-action isn't obvious. Neither is the benefit.

I don't know if the navigation is easy to use or not. I don't see what I'm supposed to do to navigate the site, or what the goal is.

I believe this needs some re-thinking. Instead of coming at this from YOUR point-of-view, consider who the target audience is and what they need that you can offer them. Do people really drive around wondering whether there's a deal in a nearby store?

As for how to attract individual users and retail businesses, it depends on what you're offering them. What's in it for them to use the site? How are they going to find the site? Do you have a marketing plan?

I think the website is clear and easy to navigate. I knew right away what it was about. I like the app idea and think that it will benefit you. Maybe one thought would be to have be able to click on a video that talks you through the process of joining and selling stuff. People would rather watch a video than read anything!

Not a fan of the overall design, layout and the look and feel. Slow loading.
