Corvette Drawing For 20 Dollars

Posted by Anonymous on 250 Points
We are selling tickets for a 77 Chevy Corvette for 20 dollars that we are raffling off in December. We are using social media as well as a radio station to promote this. And we were looking for some guerilla marketing tactics please let us know if you have any that would help out! We also tied it to a charity where we will be donating some of the profits to it.

What's the connection of the raffle to your business & charity? Which charity? What is "some of the profits" mean exactly?
Is the Corvette in "cherry" condition? What's the book value of the car?
    Where are you located?
Who are you targeting & why?

This could be a home run for all concerned; consider teaming up with the radio station and the charity to ''do the show'' from a certain location (charity headquarters, a hospital etc?), local park, etc. for a day so listeners (and target market) can actually see the car. Or invite the public to visit/see/inspect the car at different locations ("spots") around the community to sell tickets; of course, do a press announcement and consider placing ads in local press w/dates & locations announced. If no local classic car group has a ''car show'' planned, arrange your own; invite car colletors to bring their vehicles and sell tickets at the program for the ''charity'' car. Purchase Matchbox cars (covettes, of course) and send them out with the press announcements to get attention. In fact, consider giving a toy car out to everyone who buys a raffle ticket. People still love freebies.

    Best of luck to you!

I am with Marketbase. Use the car as part of the promotion. Get it to events, fairs, etc. where people can see it and have the chance to enter the contest.
