Average Return Rate For Massage Clients?

I have a massage studio client who was wondering what the industry average was for returning customers - she mentioned she has a high percentage of people who come in once or twice and never return. Her return rate seemed SUPER low to me (something like 30% of clients return), but I don't know if that's the industry standard or not. I've had massages from all her employees and they are all really great, so I just wanted to reach out and see if that's the standard or if there's something horribly wrong we're not seeing.

    My research shows that the average return rate for a first time client is approximately 30%, and that those who return for a second visit often return for 5-6 visits at about 60%. It also sounds like the return rate percentage increases slightly, each year for the first couple of years then levels. Let me caveat by saying that I am NOT a massage therapist; only very good at market research.
