Providing An All Source Site For All Businesses

Posted by MP_duck33 on 25 Points
Hi,

I'm currently doing a research about an ecommerce, I would like to do a careful planning this time and get more opinions about my business.

This site is dedicated for big and small businesses.

I'm planning of launching an all source tool website for businesses, people, companies, executives, recruiters, job seekers, individuals, online teachers, e-trainings, e-learnings and more.

This will consist the ERP, CRM, HRM, Accounting, Project Management, Dot Management, Employee Management System (EMS), E-learning with actual grading system, tests, downloadable materials, e-trainings, online studying or tutorials, Recruitment management system, Job seekers easy and smart job matching and job searching with linkedin profile exporter, direct video recording for vlogging, highly embeddable in any other sites plus direct uploads to youtube as long as you have an account, membership, forum, online store, restaurant bookings with floormaps for table choosing, livechat for customer service, payment gateways, event tickets with live video streaming if they want to get their event covered up through our website--either paid or free and more.

I'm still trying to decide whether this is alright to put in one place or is it too much? The security is first class so no need to worry about spilling out sensitive information as the website will have no bearing against the information that will be stored based in the disclaimer and terms and conditions.

So I need your opinions and suggestions or if you have any questions regarding this. The budget for the entire project is a little bit costly so I want to make the most out of it once it is done and ready to fire up.

There may be no guarantee of success in business, but a guaranteed way to fail in business is what you're proposing. There is no venture capitalist that would risk one penny on the model you are working on. Because an idea this big will take venture capital...lots of it!

In business you simply cannot be all things to all people. You need to pick a target market, find a need they have and fill the heck out of that need....thus, establishing your brand. Once established you may want to experiment with other products and services or go after another market with the same model (tailored to their specific needs).

Pare this idea down by about 99%, focus on that 1%, work hard and you should be fine....best of luck!

uhm ok... i don't know how to describe it but let me try this.

Linkedin: Network of professionals, they offer free and paid memberships, Inmail etc plus other services.

Now that services, let's say that if you're a premium member, you can enjoy the privileges of the following:

    - Post banner ads for this so and so amount and hits
    - Use these business related facilities such as online sales tracking inventory etc
    - Recieve and send emails directly from your account
    - Post your blog/vlog and promote it using the internal mass mailer
    - Create and post you events and sell tickets online while Linkedin will have a margin to your original price as you sell it

This is not a software to be sold out as it is, this is like a community site that you have the choice to be a paid or free member. If you're a free member then you can use the free facilities for the members, if you're a paid member then you can enjoy much of the privileged facilities.

Plus my only cost to this is for the programmer's fee, the entire site, structure and etc are mostly running for a couple of years now.
