"poaching Competitors’ Customers"

I know that we can acquire new customers in the telecom field through different ways such as MNP "Mobile Number Portability activity" and etc...

I also know that there is another way of acquiring customers called "Poaching competitors’ customers" I know that we can poach customers using this way by using market pricing to woo customers from the other bigger guys that has a strong postpaid brand. Is what I think right? I would really appreciate if you can give more insights with examples about different ways of "Poaching competitors’ customers" especially in the telecom field and if you can let me know the difference between it and "Customers' Acquisition"

I would really much appreciate it if you can give me more insights about "poaching customers" .

Is it professional to use this term in the business environment or CVs? Is there another name for such a term?

The only things that ought to be poached are eggs and salmon. When one poaches customers, one runs the risk of being put out of business by one's larger rivals. I advise AGAINST poaching customers and I'd steer clear of the use of the term on any résumé.
