Classical Theory & Models Of Consumer Behavior

I read some old books years ago that there are many theories & models for consumer behavior relating to different schools of thought -Social,Psychlogical, Economist,Philosophical etc and they are very valuable notes.Whether anyone could manage send me the Notes on that ?
Have anyone designed any suitable model for understanding the "Generation Y" consumer behavior?

    There are many ideas indeed. The very best ideas are those that have always worked best. There are things that hold true over the years, and no new generation will change that.

    The methods I use date back to the fifties, indeed some to the turn of the last century. They are no less powerful now than they were when first dreamed up.
