How Should I Market A New Political Website?

We are going live with a website based on politics in roughly two months. We need to implement a solid marketing technique to our site. We have been going through a grassroots campaign but I'd like to get any suggestions regarding effective marketing stratagies that have been proven in the political arena or elsewhere.     Mike, I would invest in PR as a primary marketing vehicle.

    However, I would NOT focus on only ONE campaign for this launch. Coordinate your efforts on email, PR, blogs, and so on so that each supports the other.

    If you can post the website URL here, perhaps you'll get other ideas. (Be aware, though, that questions get stale on this forum pretty quickly.)
