I'm a graphic designer and a marketer. Although I work mostly on design for print I've done some aspects of web design. The boundary between one area and another is blurred: a good graphic designer can work on websites and a good web designer can work on print work. Strictly speaking, graphics looks more to the aspects and balance of type, images, white space, and layout. Web looks more at coding and usability: hard and fast rules can be found, but it depends on where you're looking and what you're looking for.
