Looking For Lead Generation Critiques Of Our Websi

Posted by ashley on 125 Points
Wanted to pick your brains on our website lead generation at www.sunrisesigns.com . Our site focuses on vehicle wraps and fleet graphics for businesses. There are several lead gen offers on the site now and was curious as to what you thought of them, how would you change them, and what new offers would you add? Your ideas and comments would be much appreciated!

Your home page is way too busy, visually confusing and doesn't clearly guide the visitor down the path (as designed by you) for best results. Other than that, lots of good info and I'm pretty sure you are making money.

I suggest you hire a very good website graphic designer and re-skin the entire site based on an excellent thorough creative brief.

There are many aspects to lead generation, and the visitor's first impressions,
stickiness, and navigation to a sales conversion are just/more important than getting them to the site in the first place. There are too many issues to address your specific lead gen questions within the confines of this Q&A forum.

Several of the top experts (see list to right) can help you pin down the scope and pre planing for a project. Just click on their names to see profiles and email addresses to contact directly.

And btw "lead generation" and "offer structuring" are two different things. You might be able to capture some customer data when visitors click on a specific offer. And I suppose addition information is also further qualifying the prospect, so in a sense it is integrated with lead gen.

But you are really asking about your offers, the sales process and sales conversions from visitors, not really lead gen from visitor navigation. Lead gen got them to the site.

How are people getting to the page? I think you probably need a series of landing paths rather than a page that covers all the bases (and is thus confusing to just about everyone). If I want my car wrapped, why would I care about trucks or vans? Where is the missionary work being done? What are people searching for if/when your page is the "answer?"

What feedback are you getting from your clients so far? Not necessarily about the website, general feedback. What styles do they like, what do they like about your business - and what references are they giving you? Because this isn't mentioned either and can clinch the deal for many visitors.

As to my impression of the site, it is crowded and a little confusing. Your home page needs to be general and a lead-in to other more specific pages about graphics, the technology of transfers on a modern vehicle and all the rest. This will also be better for the search engines as one page will then focus on one topic. You can also have your customer reference page and an FAQ "what happens if I scratch a transfer?"

What are your analytics telling you about the path visitors are taking on your site? Ultimately, it's not what we think - but what your visitors are doing (or not doing).
