Medispa Webpage Header And Description

Posted by jon on 125 Points
I am currently re-designing the website for our Medispa. Right now, I am working on the most important part... The "Header and Description" in the top portion of the homepage.

I want something that will give a great idea of what we are about, that is intriguing. Something that will make catch their attention.

Here are some details about us. We are a clinic that focuses on services that provide noticeable results. We are about change, and we are not a fufu-lala (feel good) clinic that blows smoke up your a** for a sale.

Although we aren't a "feel good" clinic, we still do provide a great and comfortable experience for the client.

We offer botox, fillers, laser hair removal, custom diet programs, skin resurfacing, and more.

I need a header that is only about 5-6 words long, and a sub-header that is about 8-20 words long.

We offer botox, fillers, laser hair removal, custom diet programs, skin resurfacing, and more.

The issue isn't about your spa at all. Just telling everybody what you think is important is only half your job.

The really important stuff is to find out what's important to your customers and visitors. Believe me, I've just been through this with the help of a friend and it's tough. Seeing the you that you've always seen in the mirror - and yet trying to see what others see of your talents? Now that really is tough.

So it's always best to ask your friendliest customers what they think of you, and why they chose you.

Using that your headline and tagline will connect to them directly without any fuss.

So can you tell us, and we can come up with dimensions on this that will astonish you.

    Guaranteed.

Also - don't forget the obvious - where you're located (your region).
Given you're a spa, the visuals on your site will be vital to convey the feeling. Let the words focus on what makes you unique in your region to your target audience.

I forgot to mention that I am also still working on the the welcome video/slideshow/pictures that will be featured next to this header. I will most likely have the header taking up 50% of the width of the header area, and some good media content next to it (video, pictures, slideshow, etc.)

I am still not quite sure what to put there, but what I do know about website marketing, is that you really need a focal point. Something that catches their attention, and directs them to take action. I often do this with a short welcome video, or a slideshow with products or services. In this case, I don't think a video is necessarily the way to go.

If it was me, my biggest concern in going to a medispa to do services that can cost me anywhere from a few hundred dollars to a few thousand dollars when all is said and done, is professionalism, experience, and probably the type of services and equipment.

I wonder if focusing on some of the staff that will be performing the services would be smart. It might give the customer a nice window in to our clinic, and help them to feel comfortable before they even come in.

Yes, I like your idea of featuring a staffer practitioner. Probably rotating through several, showing their bio, specialty (with benefits to clients) some personality, maybe a short (20 seconds) video pop-up on the featured person when the visitor clicks.
