Ways To Compete & Build Revenue - Airline Industry

Mr. X took over as president of an Airline in 1995. The Airline was losing sales for some previous years. Management had face this problem by cutting down cost. Mr. X saw saw that as a wrong solution. the Airline needed to find new ways to compete and build revenue.
The Airline had been pursuing all travelers no focus (direction) & no superior advantages to offer anyone. infact it was seen as one of the least puntual areas of operations. if you were Mr. X what will you do?

    Here's one key you can always use to solving your homework problems. Research history to see if there were any other people who have already "been there and done that". For example I believe you can find a boat load full of ideas by reviewing the Southwest Airlines story. Now I've given you a little bit of something what do you think?
