How To Get On Wedding Registries

Posted by ng on 125 Points
My company provides dry cleaning, laundry, storage, alterations/tailoring, wedding gown cleaning, pressing and preservation, etc.

I know that brides and grooms register many different places (from Target and Kohls to Amazon.com). Is there any way to somehow either partner with these businesses to be a choice for the bride's registry or to advertise on these sites while the bride and groom are registering for gifts.

Thank you for any advice you can offer.

If I understand this properly, you are a local service provider (in Wisconsin) wanting to advertise on sites that serve a national audience. Unlike Google Adwords, most of these sites (a) don't accept 3rd party advertising, and/or (b) don't have any facility for geo-targeting advertising messages.

Your best bet might be to simply start testing an Adwords campaign and see what happens. You only pay for the traffic you get, and you can control the budget. (Let me know if you need help getting started with Adwords. I can refer a couple of experts.)
