Best Number Of "tips" For A "beauty And Natural" Ebook

Posted by Colette on 200 Points
Hello.
I am in the process of making a short ebook series (from women around the world) on health and beauty, and I would like your input on how many tips would be ideal per book.

If you were looking at a list of hundreds of ebooks on Amazon, which number would appeal to you as the "top tips" - 10, 12 or anything up to 21?
Each book would be between 1. to $3.

Also, if you have a title you would like to suggest, I would love to hear it!

Thank you!

TITLE: Colette's 10.1 Health and Beauty Tips on (insert subject).

Create ten guides like this over time. You then have the option of packaging them into bundles.

Consider keeping your book covers, page layouts, and overall book branding consistent, and connect this visual and tone of voice consistency with the look and feel of your banner ads, social media presence, Website, sales pages, download pages, thank you pages, and landing pages.

I also suggest you split test pricing points to see which prices convert the best. If your e-books work out at 10 to 20 pages, you can easily justify pricing individual books at variations along the $4.99, $5.99, $6.99, $7.99, $8.99, and $9.99 mark, up to $19.99 per book. You may just find a sweet spot somewhere around the $9.99 mark, which automatically multiples your profit potential based on your suggested price above.

If you price your wares too cheaply, you run the risk of reducing the amount of value you're seen as offering. You also run the risk of working for pennies per hour.

I agree with where Gary is going on the pricing recommendation. Build in enough value so you can charge at least $7.99. If you think it's worth less, then improve the content until it's a good value at $7.99 (or more).

The price you charge is a clear expression of what you think it's worth.

My hunch is it has nothing to do with the volume (quantity) of tips - just the effectiveness (quality) and applicability to the prospective buyer's needs.
