Tagline & Value Proposition

Posted by adhit_ar on 100 Points
Hi everyone! Right now I've been working on undergraduate thesis.

So, there's a property company using a tagline for their housing complex. The tagline says like this "Where Valuable Life Begins" and I think it's bold and catchy. I wonder what value proposition they have so they bravely use that kind of tagline and are they deliver the value they have correctly? The question, is there any correlation between tagline and value proposition and what are the theories I use for my thesis? Thank you very much

    Q. "Is there any correlation between tagline and value proposition?"

    A. If there is, it is in the mind(s) of the target audience. Some may believe all life is valuable, so the tagline doesn't mean much. Some may equate "valuable" with luxurious, in which case that would be the connection. Still others would think the tagline suggests pretentiousness, and then that would be the connection.

Why do you think the tagline is "bold and catchy?" What about it makes it so in your mind? Do you think you are in their primary target audience?

A company can state whatever they want in their marketing. Whether that marketing is effective is judged on their target audience's actions (i.e., do they become customers).
