Internationally Recognized Marketing Certification

Posted by zainimranzaidi on 250 Points
Hello Guys,

I have recently completed my MBA in Marketing and am working for an FMCG company as an Assistant Brand Manager for a leading Brand.

As the job market is getting immensely competitive, I wanted to do an Internationally recognized Marketing Certification in Brand Management, so that it may further add value and also brush up my skills, especially in marketing analytics, analysis and International Marketing.

Any suggestions?

I am not aware of any internationally-recognized marketing certification in brand management that would be more valuable than doing A+ work on your current job for at least another few years. Focus on your current assignment and get promoted (in time) to Brand Manager.

Learn what you need to learn in marketing analytics/analysis in the context of your current brand assignment. Even if there is an internationally-recognized marketing certification in brand management, I question its value when compared to a solid and consistent track record of stellar performance on your assigned brand responsibilities.

Instead of seeking a certification, why not get validated in the eyes of your peers and prospective employers by publishing articles you've researched & written to share your knowledge/expertise with them?

I doubt there are any universally recognized certifications. However, some that are tied to big global brand names like Google, Marketo, Hubspot, and Adobe would probably be a good start.
