Marketing Person A Good Project Manager....

Hi All,

Can a Marketing Communication person become a good Project Manager in any organisation.
To be very precise can a Marketing communication person like whose role in an organisation is of Branding , Promotions or events etc. can pocess a project manager role & be successful in it after attending a relevant course of PMP...

    But the precise level of "good" depends on the individual's aptitudes and motivations.

    A single course is unlikely on its own to make you a good project manager. In the company you're interested in such a role, what do the existing managers believe?

    A course may or may not help, and a marketing background may or may not help. It depends on a client's or an employer's needs and your personal interests and skill set.

    yes. Marketing Communications requires a good ability in project management to be successful. And people management.
