Free Ethics Book For Marketers

Posted by Anonymous on 25 Points
Hi Folks

I recently came across this intriguing book.

Potentially this could be used to teach marketing ethics students.

I teach the MCom in marketing as adjunct faculty (Marketing Ethics 6010) at UC.

What do others make of this book?

I find the book itself to be somewhat amateurish, though many of the points covered are quite valid. If the primary requirement is that the book be free to students, then it's probably OK. I would be concerned, though, that this kind of book could reflect badly on the quality of the school/education.

    Just my opinion, of course.

I would guess that most of your students could probably write most of the book if asked to brainstorm on the issues from their observations and research.
