    There is no universal list. Each situation is different. Here's one short list of advantages (from a supplier) that seems to make sense:

    Enhance your prospect and customer data. Provide more personalized messaging. Increase engagement and optimize marketing ROI.

    Append:

    * Consumer data: Identify key socio-demographic groups and trends using profiling tools, including Mosaic USA®

    * Business data: Append additional business information to the business records you capture and hold

    * Geolocation data: Append data based on IP addresses to better understand and target visitors on the individual or household level
