Mentoring Schemes

Posted by redshapedfriday on 250 Points
Hi

I run a small in house marketing team and am looking for a mentor whom I can work with. I'm happy to give my time in exchange for there's.

If any has any recommendations for finding a mentor please let me know.

Cheers
Graham

Some things that may help guide our answer:

    - what location are you at?

    - what industry are you in? B2B or B2C?

    - what type of marketing do you currently do? Online, print ads, emails, trade shows, etc?

Also, what you see is your major challenges and issues?

Marketing Lesson #1: Instead of advertising what YOU want, you are usually better served telling the target audience what benefit THEY can expect if they do what you are suggesting.

In your case specifically, it isn't clear how I would benefit from a mentoring arrangement with you. What's in it for me? Swapping your time for mine is only attractive if I understand what you can do and how it will benefit me.

What sector are you in, what do you hope to get out of this arrangement, how long will you need mentoring, and what do you offer in exchange?
