First of all, do you have a website? I assume so since your are in the information business. You may want to consider making a "global" homepge with links to different versions of your site relative to the language and needs of each particular region.

    For examples see:

    www.sony.net and www.fedex.net

Aditionally, one of the most important things to do is familiarize yourself with the social and business customs of each region. This is especially important when approaching Asian business people. They are very formal and easily offended (i.e. NEVER address them by their first name until they address YOU by yours).

Also, different political and economic philosophies are important to understand. For example, generally speaking, Americans are capitalists and aggressive, yet easy going when it comes to correspondance and titles. In contrast, many UK, AU, and CAN businessmen are much more laize-fare and can be overwhelmed by aggressive strategies.

I speak from personal experience...not from a racial standpoint. Of course, not everyone falls into the examples I described, but it never hurts to be educated and cautious with your approach when it comes to dealing with foreign cultures.

    I hope that helps!
