Selling To Buyers Else Where Without Travelling

what make it possible for businessmen to sell their products to buyers in other countries without having to travel. how would they know about tour products, how wolud the products get there and how will you get your money without been cheated

    Low involvement products can be sold without a sales call. Or if you find a way to automate the information providing (think Amazon).

    How would people know about your products - basic advertising and PR.

    How would you get the products there - ship from your country, set up distribution in that country, use a middleman to handle local shipments, etc.

    How do you keep from getting ripped off - put the systems in place to protect yourself as much as possible (though you will never be able to protect yourself 100%). Can't answer this with more details, as the systems needed would vary greatly by country.
