Help With City's Bus Transit Tagline

Ive been assigned a task to come up with some new taglines for our city's bus service. Our target is our Senior Citizen community. We want to promote the idea of "independence through public transportation" and the ease and flexibilty of the service. As a graphic designer with little "professional" marketing support, I appreciate all suggestions..

    Since you know your target audience and your positioning is pretty straightforward, why not use

    Independence through public transportation

    I think very often people try to be too clever with taglines. Isn't the objective to clearly communicate the positioning in a memorable way?

    taking cue from Shardman's idea about nostalgia, how about these........

    "Its Just Like Your First Mustang"

    "Its Your Independence"
