Music For Jewellery Boutique - 20-35 Yr Old People

Hi, first I'd like to say that's my first post on this site, I've read https://www.marketingprofs.com/ea/qst_question.asp?qstID=2974 but haven't find rewarding answer.

I'm writing homework - marketing concept for jewellery store for 20-35 yr old people.

Image of a brand - orginality & very high quality, setting trends in fashion.

But I have small problem, I don't know which music would best stimulate sales. I know It should be subtle. But if my brand should set trends what's fashionable and what not. Mayby I should decide on more "agressive" music, like techno? From other side I don't want to deter customers.

What do you think about that?

    hummm, as a 19 year old (almost 20) I would think that most other 20- 23 year olds wouldn't have any money, they would be paying for uni, or working (in a low pay job).

    Anyway....

    Why not have a live band, that plays all kinds of music. Try to have local up and coming bands.

    Unfortunately you cant go past rap, or pop. Maybe "The Streets" style.
