I am currently using the ASP model from a leading US email marketing vendor (at least that's what they claim to be) to send out all our European email campaigns and newsletters. Unfortunately, their support for international characters (accents & umlauts) is non-existing. This means that we have to manually replace all accents & umlauts with the appropriate ASCII code. This is really a nightmare, because in Europe most languages have accents & umlauts etc...
Does anyone here have experience with any major email marketing vendors (preferably in Europe)?
It's really important to me that this vendor:
- is a leading vendor
- offers support during European business hours
- offers support for international characters.
I'm looking for names and urls and possibly personal experiences from people that are familiar with doing email marketing in Europe.
