Manage Websites Regionally Or Globally?

Posted by Anonymous on 250 Points
My company has storefronts in 10 countries in Latin America. Each country has its own general manager and marketing department, yet they report to the corporate headquarters in the states. Each webpage for each country is completely different, other than the necesary information. At the headquarters, we are debating whether to develop a single "look and feel" for the region with each country having their country-specific information, or keeping them separate as they are now. The reason we are considering this is that some countries have excellent webpages, while others have, well, not as excellent. Even though the countries operate independently from one another, they are still under the company's name and logo.
How do you feel about this? Should we keep them looking different or looking the same? Appreciate the time.
