How Can I Increase Census In My Nursing Home

We need more residents in our nursing home...we are a rural nursing home , can take all different ages of patients. We offer all kinds of therapies.
We offer respite care as well as long term care.
The most positive thing we offer is the personal care we give to each individual patient and we have longterm employees here.

    Try reaching out to the local hospitals and physicians.

    A nursing home with quality care and long term employees sounds almost to good to be true!

    Focus on why that is so and present it to the professionals in the area who are most likely to refer.

    Being rural doesn't help, since the population and resources are limited...but if you can prove what you say by hosting luncheons, tours, open house ,etc. People may start to get the idea that you are the real deal!
