Pay Per Call Effectiveness

Posted by Anonymous on 250 Points
I manage many pay per click campaigns for client companies. We have been approached by FindWhat regarding their pay per call service.

I wonder if any members of this forum have experience with pay per call search services, especially the FindWhat service?

    Hi mdzugan,

Good question. PPcall is so new I don't have any customers that have used it yet, however, just yesterday I signed up on Ingenio which shows primarily on AOL to see how it works out. It takes up to 3 days for ads to get approved so nothing yet!

Registration is easy, minimum cost is $2.00. it would be ideal for a client who doesn't have a website or where personal interaction was mandatory in the early stage of the sales process.

Studies show 85% of phone calls get closed so it is definitely worth looking at.

Here is a good article from Search Engine Watch:

I wish I could be more help, it will be interesting 6 months - 1year from now to see where this at, I think it could have a huge impact on the local search market.

    I hope that helps.

    Zahid,

Thank you for your interest. I'm in Minnesota and work with clients throughout the US. We have a variety of consumer & B2B products and services.

We do a ton of Google, Overture, er, Yahoo and FindWhat PPC. We do a lot of geographically targeted ads, from residential power in Texas to college in Utah and special ed in Minnesota.

Thank you for your input. I will be very interested in your experience with Ingenio.

Is there a way that we could follow up on this?
