Sales Motivation

I'm looking for ways to get internet sales managers more motivated and increase the follow up on their leads.

    I've worked for companies that thought the most appropriate incentive was that managers got to keep their jobs.

    If natural desire doesn't do it, offer an incentive. Travel, gift cards, amex gift checks all can work depending on the dollar value of what they're selling

    Fire the one with the worst performance and make sure everyone knows that the next person hired will be hired because of his or her tenacity of going after every lead.
