Setting Up A Regional Marketing Manager "think-tank"

I'm the marketing director for a large eye clinic in Northwest Arkansas (Rogers/Bentonville...yes, Walmart country). At this point, we do not have local branches of either the AMA or Sales & Marketing Execs Intl and I'd like to set up a small (8-10 members) networking organization for other marketing/sales managers for KHE, vendor suggestions, promotional ideas, etc.

Any thoughts on other organizations of this nature that currently exist? Also, any suggestions on soliciting members?
