Advertising For Small & Medium Sized Firms

Posted by Anonymous on 250 Points
I am giving a presentation on 'Advertising That Won't Cost You An Arm & Leg' to a group of small and medium sized firm owners. These do not understand or appreciate advertising and lack the expertise and funds to hire an ad agency. What do I tell them? I am stuck and the presentation is next week on Wednesday!!

You've got a great title for your presentation, but you haven't given us ANY clue what your goal is on Wednesday. Are you really trying to convice the participants that they DO need to hire an agency (you in particular)? Or are you planning to offer them budget-conscious marketing ideas instead?

If it's the latter, you could just rifle through Jay Conrad Levinson's Guerilla Marketing book and summarize a few of the ideas in there.
