What key tasks must be accomplished to have a successful marketing initiative?

    You must:
    1) reach the customers you want
    2) with a message that appeals to them
    3) for a cost that is acceptable to you

    Hi HDJ90,

    The same tasks that are further defined in almost any project:

    Define your marketing initiative
    Plan your marketing initiative
    Implement your marketing initiative
    Control your marketing initiative
    Close your marketing initiative/lessons learned

    It gets more complex with start and end dates, subtasks, milestones etc., but thes 5 categories are fundamental to any marketing or business project, or building a submarine for that matter.
