    Welcome aboard Crystal,

you've asked a lot of interesting questions. I can't answer them all with out boring others but I've got a great suggestion.

And here it is...Read Jay Abrahams book Getting Everything You Can Out of All You've Got : 21 Ways You Can Out-Think, Out-Perform, and Out-Earn the Competition.

Click below & if you're really serious about being successful ---buy the book TONIGHT--- and read it by tomorrow!

...That's right! Read it by tomorrow if you're serious.

I know you might think that's crazy. But you've Got To BE Hungry or you'll be eaten alive by the Sharks of Competition. (here's the link)

SIX KEYS TO CREATING A WONDERFUL BUSINESS

    1) EVERY GREAT BUSINESS IS BUILT ONE TRANSACTION AT A TIME...

Now if you have one customer you can build a great business. Do you have at least one customer?

We're they happy with the service you performed?... I mean happy enough to tell others?

If they weren't then it's time for you to tweak your business until you get "Happy Customers". People buy emotionally and then logically talk themselves into why the transaction makes sense.

    2) MAKE CUSTOMERS FEEL "UM..UM... GOOD"

If you make them feel good while they're caught up in the buying experience guess what? Like Arnold Schwarzenegger, They'll be back! We love to come back to what feels good.

    3) CUSTOMERS JUSTIFY THEIR PURCHASES...

In other words were moved by what we want and we justify our purchases. So your mission in life (IF you want to have a successful business is to "MAKE PEOPLE FEEL GOOD" about the transaction and they'll automatically justify their purchases.

    4) EVERY TRANSACTION MUST BE UNFORGETTABLE...

Make each and every single transaction with your customers an UN-forgettable experience. Can you do that? Because if you can't do that...business isn't for you. Every time your customer finishes the purchasing transaction they should be walking away from the experience feeling good about it.

    5) THE KEY TO BUILDING BUSINESS IS "HAPPY CUSTOMERS"...

Okay let's imagine you did have one "Happy Customer". Were they satisfied as all get out about the work you did? If they were you can grow your business as big as you want by repeating the experience with every customer you have.

    6) ASK FOR REFERRALS ALL THE TIME...

Don't forget to ask every "Happy Customer" for a referral. Completely emotionally satisfied customers LOVE to give referrals over and over again because they won't other people to feel good.

Well that's my one suggestion. Use it or lose it...it's made me wealthy and I mean in ways that surpass the money I've been paid. Is there anything else I can do for you?

Why don't you hire a cutting edge advertising business to address your problem?

In a B2B situation, a good advertising agency should be able to develop innovative ways to generate new clients, create advertising ideas that establish expertise and credibility, come up with ideas that are captivating and invigorating, simple yet compelling, create excitement, and make the consumer want to know more. Really good ones will also be fluent with the latest technology.

    Know anybody like that?

(On a serious note, if you're having trouble with these issues, you may want to re-think your business mission and strategy.)

OK. Maybe you really need some help with the marketing of your advertising business. Not a great sign, but who knows? (Why would you be starting an advertising business if you hadn't already answered those questions?)

I would submit that the answer to your questions lies in a careful and precise identification of your primary target audience, and then understanding the needs, values, beliefs, likes and dislikes of that audience.

Marketing (to any audience) is more about satisfying their unmet needs than it is about how well made (or creative) your product is. Start by focusing on your customers.

You can get some good ideas on how to do this, as well as a lot of other useful tips, by picking up a copy of Rasputin For Hire : An inside look at management consulting between jobs or as a second career. The book is directed at management consultants, but the principles apply directly to most other service businesses, and several of the people interviewed for the book were, in fact, advertising professionals.

The book is available at Amazon.com and bn.com, through most bookstores in the US, or online at www.rasputinforhire.com . If you go to that website, you can preview the table of contents, introduction and chapter 1. (Just go to the section "About the book.")
