Best Trainings In Marketing Comm & Management

Posted by Anonymous on 125 Points
I am currently a brand communication manager for a telecommunication company in an Eastern European country. Basically, I am responsible with implementing communication campaigns on the market...

I want to develop and to improve my marketing knowlegde, not only with a practical side but also with a theoretical one. I studied maketing and have a master in communication. yet, I consider there are still things that I must learn, marketing being an active and evolving field, therefore I come to you asking for a training programme guideline.
This is one stage of my knowledge. The second training sessions I am interested in, is basic management, first step for a future promotion :)

Saying this, what would be in your opinion a good training programme to cover the two fields of interest mentioned above. I am not interested just in on-line courses, but also face to face, conferences.
looking forward to your response.
Should you need more info, please just let me know.
thank u.

    Hi Nyana,

I'm quite new here and well I havent really studied marketing but i've been working in the online industry for quite sometime. So here are some pearls of wisdom from me.. if you please.

    1. Take a look around the Internet and you will know how things are changing. Compared to the good old days, now the markets have opened and since you are from Europe, you must have noticed the influx of the Internet and the impact in peoples lives.

    2. Although there are not any certified courses in internet marketing (as far as I know) you could try implementing your theoretical knowledge and your practical offline experience to the Internet.

    3. There is a lot of accountability when it comes to the Internet (i'm not starting a debate of the accountability factors for offline v/s online) but if you take a closer look, you have faster results, higher accuracy.

    4. Try exploring new avenues in the Online industry, i'm sure it would be fun learning new things.

    5. Webinars: These are the best places to start off with. AMA does have regular webinars which are quite interesting and informative.

Go ahead, explore the online world, i'm sure you'll love it.

    Cheers.
