Mortgage Broker Tagline Needed- Help!

Posted by Anonymous on 250 Points
I'm a mortgage broker (also a mortgage banker- we do both) who needs a tagline for a brochure and other marketing materials. i'd like it simple/short without the word "mortgage" in it. More of a tagline that sets me apart from my competition. Here is what I offer:
10 years experience (i don't want to use "decade")
the best rates- i usually beat my competition
all types of residential loans
great service
i'm fun and personable
i care and give good advice- i won't do a loan just for profit if i think they shouldn't refinance
also- i work in a big city with people who have money- so something upscale is important.
thanks in advance!!! also- live in san francisco so something unique is ok.

Sorry, but like all of the other mortgage brokers visiting this site, you seem to THINK you're unique. Yet you all sound the same to me.

You might as well look at what other people have suggested to your colleagues:

    I need a tagline
    Branding myself
    Team slogan
    Tagline for myself
    And yes, even Pig slogan

It's like deja vu all over again. ;]

The first thing we'll need to know is your intended positioning. Who is the primary target audience for your serevice? Why should they hire you (instead of one of the other unique mortgage brokers)? What makes you different from, and better than, all the other folks out there selling what you're selling? What is your unique positioning benefit? What does your target audience need that it's not getting today? Can you deliver THAT?

It's pretty hard to come up with a good tagline unless we know what it is you're trying to communicate. If we come up with 25 suggestions, how will you decide which one to use? What criteria will you use to pick a winner?

Once we have this information, I suspect you'll get a lot of on-strategy suggestions. Without the information, the odds are stacked against getting even one -- unless you retrofit the positioning to a tagline. (Now there's a backward way to market!)
