Local Store Marketing Ideas For Restaurants

Posted by Anonymous on 125 Points
Hello everyone,

I have switched industries recently and have found myself in the quick-serve casual restaurant industry. I am looking for creative ideas to market my small mexican restaurant chain that has very little awareness in my market. I want to stick to local, community based initiatives that would be effective and appropriate for a restaurant on a tight marketing budget.

All ideas are welcome! Thank you.

My daughters cheerleaders sold discount cards that had many of the local restaurants listed. Usually something like 2:1 or free large drink.

I used it a ton. Good for 1 year. Shows school/community support.

before worrying about how to reach people, first think about who you're trying to reach. what is your demographic? who is your bread and butter customer, the person that comes in often and spends a good amount each time?

complete a profile of that bread and butter customer, THEN go find more of those people. from there, the way in which you reach them is the logical next step.
