I think the sites explains it pretty well. I assume it has to do with consumer behaviour - possibly on advertising

Re-reading your question,

I thought my previous post might send you staggering. Since u needed examples, i assume you have great difficulty undertstanding your textbook or from your lecture notes. So wiki isn't going to help.
