Name Needed For A Cleaning And Organizing Business
Posted by Anonymous on

I have been cleaning houses for a couple of years now and would like to expand this to include organizing homes. I also have run errands for my clients, helped with dinner/christmas parties (cooking and serving), and have done a small amount of catering. I need a name that would encompass all that I do. I have tried the name "Girl Friday", but there is a company out in the midwest that has that name. I am in Ohio. I am looking for a name that is friendly, service oriented, and fun.
Any help that anyone has with a name will be so appreciated. Thanks so much .

I struggled with ideas for you because everything I came up with used colloquial British terms!
However, have you read "The Cat in the Hat Comes Back" by Dr Seuss? The mess and chaos created in the house was cleaned up with something called "Voom". Maybe this is applicable to what you do.
To build on Kathy's suggestion perhaps try other prefixes to your name like "Organizing ......" or Home Help......"
Say your name is Jane, you could also have something like Jane's HOME service - Helping Organise Mansions Everywhere
(Who could do with some voom when tidying her house!)

WOW... Thanks for all of the great responses. I found them very creative and so many are perfect for my new company name. I like so many of them. I am going to research the names I like and will let you know which one I pick. Broom and Order is perfect because it combines the two aspects of my business. I also love Home Aide(since I do so much more for my customers than just cleaning), Right hand girl, Creative Concierge,-(concierge is a great descriptive word for what I do), At your service, and Delegate Inc. I tried using my first name- Darlene, but there is another company in my area using her name which is the same.
Thanks so much for getting back to me so quickly.
Thanks KathySmithCasting for the link.. I am checking it out...

Hi there everyone,,
Thanks again for the help with finding a name for my company. I have decided to go with - Broom and Order. I polled some friends and family and they all agreed on that one. I truly appreciate all of your help...

Hello, I would also like to request ideas for a creative and fun name for a home cleaning and organizing business. Possibly something like, "clean, green, serene by Jxxxxx?(it ryhmes)" :) Thank you!
