    A blog is short for weblog, Blogs are very important form PR because lots of people read them, if you get a good report in a blog then people will link to it and there readers will read it.

    Blogs are believed more than advertising.

    Blogs help get the word out about new products and services, it also spreads dissatisfaction very fast like with the new Ipod nano and the fact its screen is "more sensitive than a kate moss sponsor".

    I good demonstration of the power of a blog would be when Zif Davies (he is a BIG guy in the world of computers) complained about how his dell computer was a piece of crap and the customer service was horrible in his blog, there was a cascade effect in which other bloggers also vented there frustration about Dell and its customer service. The net impact of this was a 5% drop in sales of dell computers.
