Feedback On Coupon Mailer Ad

Posted by Anonymous on 250 Points
I have a computer repair company and have been trying methods of promoting it. I've been using Val-Pak for two months with no response and need to make up my mind whether the lack of response is due to a poor ad or if the coupon mailer idea just won't work well for my industry.

Can you take a look at the current promotion and make some suggestions about what could be done to increase response rate?

I won't tell you much about my company, let's just pretend you are a prospective customer and this flyer is all you have to go on.

It is a two-sided ad; the URL to view it is:

https://www.omsoft.com/home/nwinchell/valpak-front.jpg
https://www.omsoft.com/home/nwinchell/valpak-back.jpg

Your thoughts? It's time to make the revisions for the next month and I need help.

Honestly? The Frustrated part is good, but after that you don't do anything to separate yourself from the competition.

The offer is probably ok....depends on how much you normally charge...but you would do better by offering a free "self service checklist" before "wasting your money calling an expert"

    Just thoughts.

    HEy!

It all starts with who ur customer is. Lookin at ur mailer... u are probablly targeting it at SOHO users, but you have given it the feel of a B2B solution.

Ideally if u are mailin em, u must already be aware if they are home customers or small business.

The frustration part is ok... but think bout it... it gives the messege to the customer as if they are not good at handling there systems.

The idea shud be " why waste time doin it if you can leave it to the ppl who do it the best - US"

Also the guy in the suit give an immpression tht its probly

    Good Morning,

I am new to this site, and have recently started my own Marketing co. I have been in Advertising for 20+ years and have found Val-Pak a good resource for restaurants, oil changes etc. If you are in Illinois, there is a great co. that opened 2 years ago..it's called Val U Check. I highly reccomend this to my clients, because I have seen proven ROI.
