What's Going On With My Website? Need Opinions

Posted by Anonymous on 250 Points
Hello all,

Please take a look at my company's website and give me your opinions. [inactive link removed]
We are not getting any sales for some reason.

We get plenty of hits and are on the first pages of Yahoo and Google wholesale furniture search. I have a magnetic sign on my car and some how we are not getting anything from all of this.

We tried to revamp the site to make it more approachable. I need ideas on what other changes that we could make to get the site generating response.

Thanks

None of my browsers is able to locate your website. Looks like it does not exist. How can you be sure that it is accessible online?

Also, could you, please, answer this questions:
    - How many hits / hosts do you have per day?
    - Did you get any sales through it at all?
    - What were your sales expectations according to the website businessplan?
    - Which advertising tools do you use (besides the sign on your car)?

Unlike others, I wasn't turned off by your sight. So I asked my wife who is the designated furniture shopper in our household to take a look. I didn't tell her why...
As far as she was concerned you were a friend who was offering a good deal on something she wanted to buy.
Here are a couple of comments....
    1) Not enough descriptions on what you are offering...
    2) There were no "retail prices" so she didn't know what the price would be if not wholesale
    3) If she were going to spend multiple hundred/thousands of dollars on line she would want to research to see if your prices were really that good
    4) There is nothing to say "why buy from me"... whether it be "free shipping","quick delivery", money back assurance of quality or whatever.

Strange - Deepnet seemed to think it was a Phishing site and raised a "Deepnet AntiPhishing Alert"

As a rule of thumb only your checkout needs to be https secure.

Manufacturer search - shows manufacturers you have no stock for!

Add your address to "Contact Us"

Forcing customers to register may be putting some off.

Payment details should be clear and up front (do you take major credit cards etc)

    Download time is good

Meta Descriptiion would be useful but not vital

Write more content, don't just rely on pics to see the products
