How Can I Improve Traffic On My Site?

Posted by Anonymous on 250 Points
Any comments to improve traffic will be great. Do you find it hard to find what business are we in? Is one long page better than short pages with multi layer to get to the subject? https://www.fatbars.tv
Thx

    Hi Aahnia,

    Company website: https://www.fatbars.tv
    Country based: Hong Kong
    Service: consultation services
Related Company: Apple products, i Care.4u International Pte Ltd (Singapore); Quantel products: Quantel Asia Pacific

After carefully analysing your company profile i have suggest you following guidance to increase traffic. As you know no company can get top position, especially before knowing in what market they are going to be competing and with what budget.

    • For search engines just require the hidden information contained in Meta tags. But now a days search engines are a lot cleverer and some even ignore this information, that’s really hectic!

    • Your website - https://www.fatbars.tv conversion rates are the measures of how many visitors you're converting into customers. The best way to improve it is to know what your conversion rates are in the first place. They can only be calculated by tracking your website traffic.

    • Your hosting company should provide free log files which reveal which websites referred traffic to your site and how many hits the website received.

    • Website tracking software will check your logs, make sense of them and serve the information up in easily digestible form.

    • Nowadays there are thousands of web analytic software packages, including higher priced complex programs with real time stats and integrated pay per click management.

    • But unless you have a very big site with enormous amounts of traffic there is no need to buy one of these packages. I will say small businesses to have a look at the low end of the market.

    • You might want to find out how many site referrals came from banners or which keywords were used the most on search engines that led visitors to your site.

    I hope this will help!

It took too long to figure out what your website was all about. If I saw your site's name on a list back from a google search I might just assume it was a bogus result. I like names that say something about the business.
There seemed to be too many buttons on the site as well.

    Aahnia,
the comments are very good already. Be sure to check your pages in Netscape and Firefox. https://www.fatbars.tv/training.html is cut off after "Exams Only" and I cannot read the remainder of the page. There is also a lot of empty space at the bottom of the pages in Firefox. There are similar issues on other pages.

I agree with Kathleen about checking for grammatical errors. Have you fed your brain today, instead of "Have you feed your brain today," etc. Who is your target audience for this site?

Your opening page does need to describe what you provide in an easy-to-undersand format. I was browsing and I guess you are a company who also provides services for the National Geographic Channel and the Hallmark Channel along with providing courses? Serving Post? I feel like I am missing something. This site confuses me.

At the very least, I think if you reorganized the categories into groups, and have fewer buttons on the pages, it might make things a bit easier to navigate. For instance, your contact the chef, serving post, and the location seem like they could fit in a company profile category. You can use dynamic buttons that will "pop out" with the next level item, and that will cut down the number of main categories without adding extra clicks.

I really dig the brain graphic (even though it is quite large), but skoobie is right, you need to move your logo to the top left, and consider chopping that graphic up into smaller pieces to help it load faster. Don't forget to fix the "have you fed your brain today" line. ... :)

    Best Wishes,
