London/uk- Cool Venues For Product Launch Events

Posted by Anonymous on 125 Points
I am looking to launch a mobile device in London.
Looking for a venue for 50-100 people with restaurant or other venue with food and space for audio visual conferencing equipment. The venue must be unique i.e like the Eiffel Tower in Paris. The building should be modern, innovative and unusual. We are working with a mobile phone operator to launch the device. Target audience is key stakeholders from mobile phone operator and key business customers.

No Agencies please, I just need names of cool locations for product launches in London!

The device is a smartphone, you can use it to send/receive emails and use it like a mobile phone. Sorry, I can not show and pictures of this product. So the venue has to be somewhere where you might launch state of the art gadgets etc... The building has to be unique. I like the idea of Shakespears Globe, this is a pretty unique building in London.

shakespears globe thatre sounds cool. you would combine state of the art gadget with something that is hundred years old, something old and something new with full effect and news worthy. However, I am not sure that SG can be hired for a promotional event of any kind. I have never seen it being used for such occasion.
Try Gherkin Building is beautiful, modern, contemporary and innovative. Also, the Lloyds Building and the Ark, which when looking at it, reminds one of a sailing ship. I guess, any building in city area, business district, will meet your expectations as the entire area is state of the art. Science museum in London perhaps. Its set in South Kensington which is very London and the building itself is buitiful plus its famous for science stuff and gadgets...or... Harrods department store, set in Knighstbridge, the playground of the rich and famous, plus you would get great publicity by launching a product there...its where the queen shops :)
There is also Barbican Art Gallery, Canary Wharf Tower, Tate and Tate Modern Galleries, Leicester Square (a bit common but attention grabber)....etc.
These are some suggestions. I am not sure which one you can hire for an event but have a look at them. I dont know....there are so many and in London, everywhere you do it, it will look good :)
    Good Luck,
    Emi
