High End Jewelery Designer Wants To Market His Existing Store

Posted by Anonymous on 250 Points
My client, a high end fine jewelry designer, has had his store in an upscale big city mall for a couple of years with no PR. With lots of competition in the marketplace, he now wants me to help him promote him (he lives in another town), his designs and his store. Any ideas are very much appreciated!

What city? Any jewelry specialty? How about customer profiles?

With only this much information, the best advice would be in the form of links to “how to” market planning sites and articles. You need the basics -- value proposition, market positioning, segmenting. The key will be in finding out what’s unique about your jewelry store relative to the many competitors. You might start by having several friends go to competitor jewelry stores and report on their experiences.

Hope someone else has some jewelry store marketing experience.

    Good luck
