How Do I Get Invited In Advertising Pitches With Other Ad Agencies?

Our company needs some new business. We would like to compete with other agencies in pitches but we don't know how to get involved in that area. Does anyone have any tips?

    Have you considered finding some small specialized marketing companies, and have them introduce you to potential clients? For example, a small web design company might find that one of their clients needs help with branding, and might be in danger of losing a large account.

    I'm a boutique shop myself (long-term telemarketing) and less than 5% of the opportunities I hear about are in my "sweet spot" - but they could be excellent opportunities for someone else.
