New Store Expansion -like Walmart

Posted by Anonymous on 125 Points
Hi everyone
I have a client that is expanding. Their store will be basically on the level of a Target or Walmart. The whole concept of the store is changing from a warehouse type store to a slick upscale store. I basically need to start thinking about ways to reintroduce the store to the public and create a timeline as to what would be a good approach.
Any ideas appreciated!

    Hi Corporatestudio,

hope you're having a great day.

I can only assume that the store has been well recieved as the organization is expanding. If I were you I'd find out from existing customers what they liked so much about the store? what was it that drew them to the store in the first place and why do they continue to keep returning? These are all valuable things to reconsider as a part of connecting with the good feelings that already come from doing business with this store.

Has the store been involved in anyway up till now in the area of PR? If they have determine how you can build off of pass PR to continue communicating some of the consistent values already communicated. If the PR has much to be desired determine how you want to move the old perception that people already have about the organization into the direction of the new perception of you desire to communicate.

I would make the reintroduction a festive and exciting invitation to return to the new and improved store. Of course several release over time will be better unless the courtship you have with the local media is in good standing. REMEMBER... our only real problem in life is our failure to be "MORE Creative" than we’ve ever been. If you “Invent” your opportunity YOU WILL most definitely create your future. I'm only an email away from you if you need my help Steve. Is there anything else I can do for you?
