How To Use Ansoff's Matrix To Identify Strategic Alternatives

Hi, may i ask how to use Ansoff's Matrix to identify strategic alternatives for a kind of existing OTC product. Because medicine is a special product, and its customers will be doctor, pharmacist and consumers. we cannot put ad on the newspaper directly according to company's policy. We think the marketing promotion or mkt plan could be included: seminar, patients' education, distribution channel, competitor's information collection and try to make differentiating and communicate them to your customers.
