Selling Benefits To Clients.

What are the benefits clients (in my case companies) would get by listing at a stock exchange? investors have many benefits of making profit, but the companies listed, what benefit do they get?

What attracts companies to certain markets? What standards or benchmarking strategy they use to decide on a specific exchage for their company to be listed?
