Building From Pattern In Book

Is it legal to sell products built using plans from a book? The only copyrights I can see are for copying or selling article in print.

    Thankyou so much for your response to my question. I am just launching my lifetime passion of woodworking and was very concerned about this problem. I tried contacting the publishing people but no one would talk to me. Once again, thankyou.
